Here to be happy
I have a bottle of 8208 XBR and some 55gr no name Hollow Tip bullets for .223 Rem that have been here a long time. I bought them when I got started reloading but never moved to rifle from 9mm.
I thought I would use some of my social distancing time to get the press set up for rifle using what I had on hand.
Today I checked the Hogdon online data and see they have 1 load for a 55gr SPR SP (spire soft point?) which was for a 1/12 twist 24" barrel. I'm shooting out of a 16" 1/7 twist AR. Considering the difference in bullet types and barrels is there any reason to think it would be unsafe to start with the minimum published load?
