I'm laid up sick... Missing out on the ribs... Hopefully the ol lady will be kind enough to bring me a plate...

Im doing ribeye and chix kabobs with onion, pepper, and mushroom with a side of corn on the cob.

But the real reason for this post is this:20170704_170440.jpg

I found a recipe for tgi fridays jack daniels glaze. My pallet isnt strong enough to tell if it is spot on, but i think it tastes like it, and it a pretty darn delicious all around. Pretty sweet, but good in small doses.

We'd intended on grilling a couple of nice Strips for dinner and smoking a couple of pork tenderloins for dinners the rest of the week, but the tenderloins smelled so good, we changed our minds.

I had a smoked pork tenderloin and some steamed broccoli with a cold beer. Our July 4th dinner is on Friday, BBQ, tater salad, slaw, beans, tater chips, ribs, and homemade ice cream! Fireworks to follow! Happy Birthday America!!!!
