Yeah, what? The only thing I can think of is the sound of the slide racking a round. You can kinda tell the difference. o_O

Hmmmm ... coulda been another “empty” gun killing someone ... I see all firearms as loaded period. I don’t care if it’s a revolver and I see empty chambers ... the one cycled in could be. I don’t care if there’s no mag in the firearm ... there could be one in the chamber. I D I O T !!!

And this idiot knew the sound of the hammer on an automatic weapon on an empty gun? He had his “forty” and chased after him in a vehicle? This yahoo is cruising for a bad ending someway or other.

Got to give him a +1 extra credit for not shooting because his rounds would have exited the store.

"Stinson said he plans to put a bullet stopper in front of his window in case an incident happens again."

Wth?

I could have killed him over $10....
The amount of cash the thief could have taken is IRRELEVANT.
The thief made a conscious effort commit a violent felony.
That retard, who has seen one too many Eastwood movies, still should have shot the thief.
Unless the thief racked the slide, and then racked it again, there is no way to “hear” a chamber isn’t loaded.

Perhaps he did not want his store burned to the ground?
