Maybe. But they probably considered their liability before making the offer... if it is an unshootable/dangerous firearm, the potential negative feedback is likely not worth it to them as a business.

I'm almost considering one...
 
But itā€™s not an auction, so my guess is that itā€™s something worth $75-100 with maybe one or two special items worth $125.

Has anyone posted about what they got in the past when buying these ā€œcovetedā€ boxes!

I don't mean dangerous necessarily, more like cheap junk pistol that nobody would want if they saw it first...I could be wrong
 
It says it is a used 9mm pistol and the buy it now price is $125 with 10 available... Interesting. Only a few things that wouldn't be a deal at the price point. HiPoint, some old beater Taurus or beater Kel-Tec P series, SCCY... What else?

But, if it turned out to be a pretty decent gun, the feedback and word of mouth would be some cheap advertising for them. Remember, this is most likely a FFL that takes trades, so, they have pennies on the dollar on the item in the box.

SCCY's are sold out at most distributors now, as are most 9mm handguns <$600 wholesale.

I looked and didn't see anything specific mentioned...
 
There is no way there is anything valuable in there, it's gotta be a pile of used C9s that look like they've been in and out of an evidence locker a dozen times and stored in a dryer filled with scrap metal... with maybe a SCCY or G2c in one box.

If it was anything but a hi point they could mark them at $200 or $250 and blow them out; low end 9mms are hard to find now.

Or maybe I just don't understand the value of "mystery".
