Surprising results. I used to have a Winchester Model 100 in .243. Sold it to a guy before I found out that Winchester would still honor the recall on the firing pin.

The 25 WSSM is also a steel killer.
Wolf 5.56 bi metal jacket makes small divits on my 1/2" plate at 100yds.
Basically if it makes sparks, it is making a divit.

ETA: Anyone else get the urge to go full safety nazi on those guys?
I get uptight about going down range with a mess of closed actions pointing at my back.
Sure as Jesus wears Sandals...chit does happen. Best to not invite it.

No doubt. 12 yards out with fragments flying right back at you. There was a commenter that gave them a tip about repositioning the bolts so the plate would hang at a different angle to deflect everything down towards the ground.

Assuming beveled washers provide enough downward angle, that would save a bunch of nuts, flat and lock washers, while allowing much shorter (cheaper) bolts to be used.

Why didn’t you remind me Sunday?

Would be interesting to see both the 6.5 and 6mm Creeds.

Yeah, personally I'd leave those actions open.
