Pretty sure that's Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh, and Fayetteville. Something tells me you knew that though. Buncombe (Asheville) stands out too.
Yes, but its counties, not cities, and the adjacent pink ones are throwing me off... for instance is that Forsyth red and Surry pink above it? If so, then Guilford is pink?

@MacEntyre - It's hard ta see in the map at the site but the pink areas are pretty low body count. Like 5-15.
I had ta zoom way in to see clearly. A bigger version would be nice.

No surprises here. Just follow the lefty democrats.
Pretty sure it's Cumberland, Robeson.
Wake, Durham.
Guilford, Rockingham.
Mecklenburg and the 85 corridor just North. Still the "Greater" cHarlotte area.
Buncombe- Asheville

Yeah but I prefer to blame the cities. WE all know that's where it's at anyway. And it's easier. lol

The answer from democrats is always to disarm good people and declare larger gun free zones. This always results in increased violent crime rates in those areas. Wash, rinse, repeat.

That doesn't explain the stuff in FL, does it? Or while the state is generally pretty open there are some cities that are restrictive?

Seems kind of logical, doesn't it? Higher concentration of people, more urban related problems, etc. Or it's depressed, low opportunity areas with drug issues. I can actually see necessity of stricter rules due to unique circumstances of high population density. It's why I believe in the eventual creation of city/states with their own rules.
But, the broad stroke of applying those rules across the complete states or country is misguided.
If you have a cancer, treat the cancer and don't kill the body.

The leftist solution is always to disarm the the light pink and "white" areas on the map cause the ferals that they produced with their BS policies are doing exactly what they're s'posed to do. See Cloward-Piven.

Florida red areas. (using red for those was a fuggup on the Lott study IMO)
Jacksonville
Tampa - Orlando corridor.
Palm Beach/Broward/Dade in the SE sector.
And Ft Myers all by it's lonesome on the other side of the swamp.
The usual suspects..

But that doesn't fit the narrative nor does it advance the agenda.
The leftists need chaos to move a scared population to seek security from .gov. Which never ends well.
This movie is familiar and they've been at this a long time.. i.e. The Long March thru the Institutions.
Turns out J McCarthy may have been onto somethin. The goal of socialism is communism.

With so much "common sense" gun control in Chicago, I wonder why that Beetlejuice-looking MFing' Runt of a mayor is leading the city in murders? 🤔
