Interesting study regarding breakfast

Back in the medieval times Lunch was the big meal of the day. Calories for when you need them and a light dinner. The trick for the big breakfast is to eat the small dinner.

It’s been a rough week personally and professionally, I was happy to find I’m still employed today after 24 years at the same place.
That being said I haven’t been able to eat much without my stomach locking up. 2 eggs and a piece of toast in the morn has been all I’ve wanted. Went from 206 to 192 in 6 days.
JPB makes the point that the most important meal is to start your day with protein and fat for your brain when you wake up.

Pretty sure I've read the exact opposite.

Can you post any data? That's why I post these things... there are a lot of myths, half-truths, and pseudo-science with regard to nutrition and dieting, I am trying to foster discussion and see if people can provide data that supports something else.

I'm convinced that the only rational dieting advice that is actually sustainable in the long term is the "Don't Be Stupid(R)" diet plan I came up with.

It consists entirely of this: "Don't be stupid"

Having breakfast? Skip the gravy, try the fruit.
Lunch? Maybe try a salad every now and then; lay off the double 1/4 pounder with cheese.
Dinner? Get the 8oz steak not the 12.
Dessert? Have A cookie, not a dozen.

In other words, don't try to follow any particular plan or restrict any particular foods, just make mostly good choices.

The best diet is the one you can stick with.
