91 suburban 4x4, developed intermittent slipping between first and second, mainly when cold. Take it in now or wait until it does it all the time? I use L&R over off Griffith Drive. Mock Tire seems to think it is a solenoid or clutch pack problem.

Have you changed fluid and filter? And have you tried any of that Lucas trans fix additive? Might let you get by with it for a while

Good point. I'll try that first. Last year I had the rear end replaced so I figured the tmission might be the next thing. Thanks for the assist.
