is anyone else oddly attracted to the rock island m206?

Putting different grips on it really improves the looks and handling.check the American rifleman reviews on this little revolver,

I have one exactly like the one in the picture, even the same set of grips. I bought it a couple of years ago from a member of 'the other site'.
I love that thing. fun little gun to shoot.

Yeah, mine came with the crappy little wood grips which were to small, called armscor within a few days ,they sent me the black grips . I've never been disappointed by their customer service

I'm liking the grip angle and round butt; .

I also like gripping a round butt.

I kinda like the little gun. At that price it could be something good to play with.

I was very interested in it but read several "reviews" that showed he cylinder lock up when firing, turned me off for a while. Honestly if I saw one for $200 I'd grab it. I'm a sucker for cheap fun. I am also very hesitant to take any web reviewer's word as gospel. You get a lot of "if it ain't a __ don't buy it" type of people who will put in the "had a buddy that xxx" or their history with the weapon is exaggerated. In my experience cheaper weapons can be "picky" about what type of ammo functions properly. But once you find that sweet spot are 100% reliable. Have a Phoenix hp-22 that will only run on thunderbolts and minimags. But I picked it up for $120. So for a fun gun, I can find ammo it likes.

Pretty sure it is basically an EAA revolver.

How so? I have both and I don't see the comparison, unless you going on the price point

I know practically nothing about revolvers. But it seems to me the frame is different from a eaa snubnose. Top strap different shape whatever you call the pin/block beside the cylinder near trigger assembly, and cylinder release looks to push on eaa and pull on the ria. Maybe wrong on this as I say not a big revolver guy.

All I have heard in this thread is what it looks like. No one has mentioned the horrendous double action trigger pull or the gritty feel when pulling the trigger. And nothing has been said about the accuracy unless they have improved the action on them I wouldn't have one if it was free. A buddy had one and he could not hit a Coke can with it at 15 feet.

I am guessing your sick.. should someone start a Gofundme page to cure this illness or is he too far gone?
