Sort of a blanket question based on only one example, but thought I would ask.

So, I'm talking to my Dad this morning and he's telling me about our LGS being broken into the other night. Thief made off with a few dozen guns. But that's another thread.

While we're taking about that and other gun related matters, he mentions how he's still sitting on about $800 worth of Troy battlemags. I chuckled and said they ain't worth that much. He has a box of 80 that he got from me and valued them at about $10 each. I told him they were more like $7 per.

He then tells me that he's looked around and they are from $8 to $10 each, but most places are out of stock. I did a quick internet check and the first two or three places were actually out of stock. The fourth place that had them showed 110 in stock and priced them at $10 each.

I haven't researched much further than that, but are we starting to see a drought or could this possibly be limited to that specific item?

Have you been looking for something, only to find most places are OOS?

Possibly. Since the bottom dropped out of the market it wouldn't make sense for manufacturers to keep piling up inventory.

I dont know about them specifically, but 8-9 is what I paid recently for the same thing.

As for drought, maybe it's just that one specific item that isnt an industry leader (I'd say the PMAG reigns king in the plastic AR mag world), so maybe they just didnt stock up as much. Not sure.
Or maybe you figured out the secret to my retirement plan and Im off to buy every Troy Battlemag I can get my hands on lol

The PMAG deals are gone. PSA, Midway and Brownells are all charging $12+ now vs. $9-ish the last order. Glock mags are not really available at $18-20 like they were a few weeks ago.

So either they've sold out of the glut and the inventory is starting to dry, or the AWB that's going to get some media hype in the following weeks is starting to scare some people.

FG&G had the standard 30rd Pmags yesterday for 9.99.

The drought starts when people start talking about it ... and gains momentum with each conversation.
You're right.

Gotta go buy some mags. brb...

Someone just posted a deal for PMAGs in the past two ro three days, I think it was 8 or 9 bucks shipped.

Saw an ad today for foliage _windowed_ pmags for $10.

I have Tupperware but the majority are metal at $6.99-$7.99 from a well stocked Palmetto State. Manufacturers have finally u loaded their mass inventory and curtailed production in a slow gun market. Thus higher prices and lower supply.
