As a 5 round AR magazine that is shorter than a 10 or 20 round mag?? Trying to sight in my optics using my rest and the damned mag is too long. Only need it while sighting in.....Anybody????

The 10 rounders are what I use. I have a handful of them for bench work. With a bipod or front bag they are fine.

That looks like a 10 round mag, with a block to not exceed 5 rounds. of the 10 round mags I have (lancer/magpul/hera/and a couple others) the ASC 10 rounder is 3 5/16th the magpul is 3 5/8ths

the solution is to get a taller rest. You probably spend more than that on that mag.
