Dad said if you just fired a stream of unignighted gas first then just a burst to ignite it all with it adjusted right you could get 75 yds and better under the right conditions.

a small underbarrel chainsaw running on a ryobi battery is a better idea

let the flame thrower be it's own thing.
unless you can offload the gas can and pressure tank to a backpack.. then that changes things
