Is YouTube blocking linked videos?

I’ve been getting a error when trying to view YouTube videos linked here. Anyone else getting this?

From what I understand, it is a setting the YouTube uploader can select.

Embedded videos on forums can’t generate the same revenue as if the same video is viewed on the YouTube site or app. So some YouTubers will select the option that disables embedded viewing.

And when instead of going to YT to view, they just say forget it., the content poster gets noting instead. It was in regards to the stock market, but a similar idea applies. A teacher in HS said, “bulls and bears make money, but hogs don’t”.

That was the first in-home movie I ever watched. That was in the early to mid-80s, when VHS players cost anywhere from $600-$1000 and that’s no sh*t.

Well...before the days of cheap VHS players and Action Video / Blockbuster stores, you could rent what they called a Betamax system. Most grocery stores had them for rent...they were sitting right next to the Rug Doctor carpet cleaners they rented out.

Anywho, my folks rented one and “Trading Places” was the first movie I watched on it. I thought, “This is great; ain’t gotta go to the theater...just rent the movie and watch it in our living room.”


We were sh*tting in high cotton...good times.
