Issue posting pics

Ok, here’s my next question to see if it’s just me. In the last several days, probably not even a week…every pic I add to a post goes to the very top.

Where I used to type a message, then hit Return twice, then insert pic and it showed up where the cursor was…it now shows up above whatever I typed. It’s been doing that consistently once it started recently.

I’ve always positioned the cursor where I want the photo, as the last step before inserting it.

I use the attach file button at the bottom, then the insert full size option on the thumbnail.
Never an issue. Pic always goes where I have the cursor.

Had to turn my phone sideways to see that option. It attaches the file but doesn’t insert it into the post. I get rid of the step of deleting the pic…but add the step of turning my phone. Probably about the same time wise.

Short term fix is to insert the pic before typing, then type above it. 🤔

No, it doesnt insert it. But on the thumbnail itself are two clickable options. Insert thumbnail and insert full sizee. At least for me there are
After attaching, click one of those and its where the cursor is

Oh, and by the way...in yoyr little vid, your phone is straight up and I can see the attach file at the bottom without it being turned sideways

Oh yeah, it’s there. I was doing something else and it didn’t show up. Not sure what.

I do get the two options. But I get those as well the other way…so when I delete the pic that ended up in the wrong spot, I tap Full Image to put it at the bottom.

Ok. Sounds like using the bottom button then inserting will save the step of having to delete a pic.

It has always inserted at the top for me unless I first select the file, then position the cursor, then select thumbnail or full size.

But I noticed this also.. I had the same problem when uploading a picture to a thread..

I won’t even bother to make another thread to ask about this one…happens once a week or so. Banner disappears. Never had anybody else say it was gone for them (asked in Shoutbox a couple times when it happened), and amnesia hasn’t seen the problem.

Nope. The banner disappears for 30 minutes up to an hour or two. And then without anybody doing anything to fix it, it shows up again. 🤔

And I have an instagram account that's logged in.

I don't have a Instagram and see the same thing. If I click the link it takes me to it. Can only watch once though, some of them I need to back out and click it again to get a second viewing

Those are all videos. If I’m grabbing a pic from IG, I’ll screen shot it and attach it. Haven’t figured out any way to embed it.

It shows up the same way to me after I post it. But if I click it, it opens in the app. Not sure why it’s not working for you if you’re logged into IG?
