Isn’t the voltage regulator build into the pcm? Some of them dodge and Chrysler products have them build in the pcm and are known to go bad.

Maybe if he connects enough of them together it’ll get him home.

@Rskahle I'm not sure if your jeep has this, most do though. Check the fusible link on the hot side of the alternator. It's worth a quick check before removing the alternator.

Bad fuse, when the wiring was redone the fuseable link was replaced with a larger inline fuse. It came with a factory infinity amp and apparently my wife was messing with the settings, if you do so blows that fuse along with another.
