I am thinking about IWB for my J-frame. I have mostly carried it in a pocket holster. I have a very nice OWB holster from LOBO gun leather that I use occasionally. Do any of you use IWB for the J-frame, and if so, what type? Thanks.

I like to carry revolvers AIWB crossdraw. The J Frames work well that way. I use a leather slipper, similar to a DeSantis Nemesis, but deeper.

TT Gunleather KX Lightweight or IWB with loops.

Also, the super old plain suede Safariland holsters with clip from the bargain bin. They sit deep. Very thin.

You want something that sits deep.

Used to have a Galco IWB holster for my first 442 back in 91'. Only thing I disliked about it was the lack of reinforced top, as it collapsed when the gun was withdrawn. That made one handed holstering impossible. Another suggestion is not to get the clip or loop that is over the cylinder as it makes it more bulky. Get it offset over the triggerguard.

I like Wild Bill’s Covert Carry and MTR Adversary for J-frames.

they both ride pretty low which I like and their clips have very little bulk. they can be used anywhere from appendix to 5 o’clock.

442 with the wild bills holster is one of those holsters where after a few hours I really don’t know it’s there.

both of these are North Carolina based businesses
