I've been carrying the .357 640 more and more lately, it's just such a sweet setup in it's IWB Milt Sparks.

Problem is the rubber stocks catch my shirt and ride it up. I'm thinking some smooth wood stocks would cure the problem.

These Eagles look slick as hell, but $90 seems a bit steep. Anyone have any experience? Maybe an alternative?

I couldn't tell you the model. My mother bought the gun and holster combo from a guy that went to Tuesday night matches at my local range in the late 90s. I really like this setup though.

Altamont makes nice grips and ship fast. They aren't very expensive, either.

In regards to the holster:
For this gun, it is perfect. Easy off and it carries beautifully. Draws very smooth and retention is good. Reinforced mouth so easy to reholster. If I lost it, I would replace it immediately.

I also have MS summer specials for a Colt commander and G19. They are excellent as well.

Gonna check out Altamonte. May just say F it and get the eagles

I've got several sets of Eagle Secret Service and really like them. I like the smooth ones much better than the checkered ones. A couple of sets required very minor fitting along the backstrap, but that seems to be more that the j frames vary a little from the pre cnc days to the current ones.
