Kinda slow and repetitive book with a spiritual/super political perspective . Lots of details on the crime, planning, players and cover up. Curious reminders though on the guns. The deaf guy on the railroad bridge saw one shooter break down a rifle and hand it off to another man. He demonstrated a twisting motion, but maybe it was more like a single shot shotgun?. A 45 caliber slug was spotted on the infield. Any single shot target rifles around that era that fit the bill? H&R handi rifle type thing maybe. It's weird, because a guy was spotted taking a rifle somewhat wrapped in paper out of a truck and carrying up the grassy knoll half an hour earlier. Jack Ruby driving. Also whoever shot Tippett dumped his revolver but there were 38 super casings mixed in there too. Always thought 2 shooters, but is it possible they would fire from a revolver? I've never seen 38 super. My cousin got shot in the arm by a bullet and the casing too. Got me thinking. That was a dumb thug though, not a pro assassin. Just wondering....

Not that I have tried but 38 Supers fit in my Taurus 605 (357 Magnum) fine and I wouldn't hesitate using them if I had to. There is enough of a rim on the 38 super to be used in a revolver.
Also, 38 Super uses projectiles from .355 to .357.

Once got a bunch of Super 38s in a trade . Shot them all up in a S&W Model 10.

Yes. Weird night. He had a hot GTO around 1968. Dropped his girl off, passed a big yellow Caddy getting on the freeway. Must have pissed the guy off. Big black dude ran him off the road, ran back and shot him. Glass fragments did the most damage. Might have been a 9 mill fired from a 38. Not sure about that. But shallow nasty bullet wound with a cookie cutter mark from the casing. Interesting scar.
