Super sad. I remember the first time I watched his show. It was on TNN back in the 1990's. I love his show and his son. I met him at Ft Benning, GA back in 2004 at building 4882 when he was going through the course and met Jim then for the first time.

only way I ever saw them, since i didn't have cable as a kid.

I used to wake up early to watch his show. Was possibly the only show on cable that talked about guns. Im sad to hear he passed. He's at that big shooting range in the sky now. Safe shootin Jim!

I used to love watching his shows as a kid. There wasn’t much gun content on TV in the 90’s and YouTube wasn’t a thing yet, so watching Jim was a treat!
