I love this "action steel" match, looking forward to it. I don't like the name because it sounds confusing with the static steel matches. I'll be there representing low-cost, non-bmw shooting PCC division, the ninja will probably join as well.

I'm signed up, in the same squad as Sas shooting the same model PCC 'cause I ain't go no originality.

I went to the last one, hardest match I've ever shot. Obviously I didn't learn my lesson since I'm back for more.

Great match! Jayne did great (copycat). No BMWs were harmed in the making of this match. But that Izuzu...

But that Izuzu...

It was asking for it, just standing there like that. I noticed someone marked me down for a hit on a non-threat. Sounds like hokum, you guys were just trying to hold me back from winning! :)

For those of you who want a solid challenge, this match is pretty tough. With a carbine it's 'easy' in that you can hit stuff at 20 yards without drama but then it all becomes about transitions, movement, reloads, etc. Basically everything but 'hitting stuff' comes into play. For the non-elite pistoleros though, damn, hitting things is 80% of the time spent. I would be hard pressed to finish some of the stages with my G34. Makes me queasy just thinking about the prospect of trying. Or maybe that's the wine. But whatever, it's tough. With the PCC though, damn it's just solid fun. You can run these Rugers hard and they just beg for you to go faster. Just remember to solidly seat those mags on the reload (maybe download by 1). I had mine fall out twice, each stage it was reload, shoot, reload with the 2nd mag pouch because the first was now on the ground, shoot again.

Nice shooting Sasquatch!

Jayne: what did you find especially difficult about it? The accuracy requirements? Why would it be tough with G34?

I am far from an "elite pistolero" and found it to be relatively newb friendly. Although I guess some struggle with shooting steel, as they may not be used to it.

Huh, I never responded. That's rude of me.

So perhaps just I would find it difficult with the G34. Seemed like a lot of longer range stuff and that double Texas Star thingy gave some people fits.

Uhhg. Double Texas star!
Pcc....

Edit: dang my previous message sounds like I think steel is easy or something. You wouldn’t know that by watching me shoot at it! Heh.
