So I like multitools, you may have figured that out already.
In my quest to get some sometimes you have to take a package deal and you get a bit of junk in with it.
With that I give you this piece.
Off the top of my head I cant tell you which model this is.
But it is an actual Victorinox, not some cheap Chinese clone or even a Wenger produced SAK.
But its rough. You'll see the main blade has a broken tip, smaller blade is full of surface rust etc.
One of the openers (I think it was the can opener) was really hard to even get open, had to use pliers.
It was junk.
So I thought I'd try something I've not done before - tear one apart and make something out of it.
Ive never done this, and, in retrospect, would do things a bit differently next time...like having a vice would have been awesome.
But I went at it with a punch and hammer, as well as a 18v cordless drill. Not sure if I was doing it right or not, it, eventually, came apart.
Now, if Im honest, I wish I'd have taken a picture disassembled in its original shape. But, unfortunately, I did not.
But I'll post pics as I go, first cleaning it all up and then doing...well...SOMETHING with all of this.
stay tuned.
