Im not a avid fisherman. I use to go alot when I was little but it was 7 years before I went again late last year. I went Tuesday and I caught a 4 or 5 lb channel cat ( I love catfish ). I was stupid excited! Lol like I was a little kid again. Took him home and fillet him and pan fried. Was the best fish I have ever had! I know it sounds stupid but it was the first time in my life I have went out, caught my dinner, went home prepared it for the pan and then cooked it. Know Im planning on my next little trip to the loacl pond sorry had to tell someone

It's an awesome feeling!!!! Now, fill the freezer and cook for a group of family/friends. That gives me more satisfaction than anything. Fried fish and sweet potatoes with the family was an every weekend event in the spring and summer when I was growing up.
