I don't want to steal @JustKeepSwimming's thunder but he finally got his parts back from the cerakoter he won back in December in a Weapon Evolution giveaway. The camo is a tribute to his pops, a VC slaying, body stacking, ear slicing SEAL in the 'Nam

It looks GREAT. Had to use the ole gray matter because the Rainier Ultramatch lower had some changes that I wasn't quite familiar with but we made it work no problem. I'll let him chime in on the specs and I'll get more pics up later

That's badass. Love that camo

Needless to say I'm stoked beyond words with how this build turned out.

First and foremost a huge thank you to my good friend @11B CIB ! I could not have done this without his guidance and input on parts selection to his seriously mad skills in building this. I tried my best to throw money at this build, my first, and I think I accomplished my vision. Everything in this build is brand new from top to bottom, front to back.

The specs:

Rainier Arms UltraMatch upper/lower

Rail: Cross Machine Tool (CMT) UPHR – 15.0" Mod 1

BCG: Fathom Arms Enhanced

Buffer: Rainier Arms H Buffer

Buffer Tube: Rainier Arms 6 position

Spring: Rainier Arms Mil-Spec Carbine

Trigger: CMC Flat 3.5lb single stage

LPK: PSA

Barrel: Rainier Arms UltraMatch .223 Wylde SDM 18” barrel (rifle length gas)

Gas Tube: Rainier Arms SS Rifle Length

Gas Block: Seekins .750 Low Profile Adjustable

Stock: Magpul ACS-L Mil-Spec Carbine

Grip: BCM Gunfighter Mod 0 Standard

BUIS: MBUS Pro Front and Rear

Scope: PA 1x-8x ACSS

Scope Mount: Bobro Extended QD

Charging Handle: Griffin SN-ACH

Safety Selector Switch: BAD-ASS Ambi

Harris BRM-S Series Bi-Pod

AND last but not least the Griffin Recce 5 Mod 3 Suppressor

11B CIB and I shot a 20 round mag through it afterwards and it ran flawlessly not to mention the Recce 5 made it quite comfortable shooting without ear pro not that I will be in the habit of doing that. Now to get the BUIS and the scope zeroed and start pouring rounds down this thing.

And I would be remiss if I didn't thank the owner of Weapons Evolution for the giveaway I won. The package included the RA Ultramatch upper/lower, the CMT Rail, a cerakote job of my choosing from Blowndeadline Custom, and about $200 worth of M-Lok rail accessories from North Carolinas very own Arisaka. Will, the owner of Arisaka, is one hell of a nice guy and I urge you to look him up for any type of accessories you may need.

So, as @11B CIB mentioned, he has all the cool pics so I'm sure they will be up shortly. Let me know what you think! I literally sent a photo of my Dad in his SEAL Team 1 camo in Vietnam to the cerakote guy and he knocked it out of the park.

Cheers and a very Happy 4th to y'all here at my sweet home CFF!

Some progress. At this point, the lower is done and we are working on the barrel, gas block, and brake for the Griffin Recce 5. The lower had some really neat features but some I'd never seen so I had to think on my feet and find some tiny ass Allen wrenches. I put a small 1/2" long stripe in the cerakote on the barrel because the adjustable gas block was SO snug, despite being lubed like mad

CMT UPHR 15" rail is in place over the 18" Rainier Ultramatch SDM barrel; Shilen blank, 4 groove 1:8 223 Wylde. The CMT barrel nut was .001" more narrow than a milspec one so it took a little oomph to get it over the largest step on the rifle. You can see a Fathom Enhanced BCG in the back

Best looking painted rifle build I've ever seen. Love the FDE barrel and buffer tube under it.

Thank you Sir! I couldn't be happier with it. The attention to detail is awesome.

Mike, the owner of Blowndeadline Custom, has some amazing skills.

Looks great!

Any plans for the can or does it stay black?

Thank you good sir!

Ya know, I hadn't even thought about it until your post. I think I like it the way it is right now but I'm sure @11B CIB will be along here soon to tell me it is "a quick rattle can away from being perfect"!

Sounds like a thread/poll all its own. Lol.

Do let us vote on it, please.... and keeping with the kitty theme:

I've painted a couple. Looks pretty cool once it gets worn in, but with the BattkeKitty having black accents, it looks pretty good as is. You could always rattle can it to match the barrel

I'm perfectly content as is. It's exactly how I was hoping it would be. Plus I'm sure I will migrate that can to the other EBR's for fun sometime so the old Battle Kitty is done....for now :)
