I thought I'd share this knife - it's new to me, and it's very much a 'niche' knife. It's a folder modeled after the famous K-Bar fighting knife, and it's a real hoss ... er, mule, I guess. It makes a great overall working knife, where weight is not an issue. It comes with a Cordura belt sheath and a removable pocket clip (see photos). You can get it with or without serrations.

Specs: weight 7.2 oz / closed length 5 1/4" / open length 9 1/16" / blade length 3 1/4"

I'll add to the review later after I've put her through her paces around the hacienda.

Short version review:
  1. it's a great working knife, but it is bigger and heavier than a Buck 110 folder, so it might be something you don't want to edc in shorts or thin pants
  2. some reviews say the clip is flimsy and loose; mine is tighter than a tick and grips like an anaconda - but -
  3. the clip is on the skinny side so coupled with the above it's hard for me to access from a clipped status
  4. it has an ambidextrous action thumbscrew but the opening action is stiff on mine regardless of adjustment
  5. the belt sheath looks flimsy, but works well, plus you can rig it upright or sideways
  6. *** all of the above does not even come close to keeping me from carrying it as my new edc folder ***

I have that exact knife. Had it for many years. It is a stout and sturdy knife that has served me well.

Specification:
Weight: 0.5 lbs.
Lock Style: Lockback
Closed length 5 1/4"
Open length 9 1/16"
Grind: Hollow
Shape: Clip
Handle Material: Zytel
Stamp: KA-BAR
HRC: 57-59
Edge Angle: 15 Degrees
Butt Cap /Guard: N/A
Steel: AUS 8A Stainless Steel
Country Mft'd: Made in Taiwan

IMO, Taiwanese steel is pretty good and K-Bar still oversees the quality control which has traditionally been good also.

My 3051 model (pictured above) has a serrated lower section; the 3050 model is a straight blade.
