Killing time between painting some side pieces for my workbench and stain on the top, I decided to toy around with an old ammo can Ive had for a few years now.

I think its a 60mm mortar or something, I'll have to look at the other side. But I paid ten bucks for it a while back and decided I'd start putting it in my cargo area for my hockey bag - there is a drop between the height of the rear seats when laid down vs the cargo floor bottom. This is about perfect and makes it a little easier to roll into the back of the car.

Anyway. While killing time I thought I'd spruce it up a bit, try something out.
In hindsight I'd do things slightly differently next time, mainly LESS paint (it put it on too thick and it caused some issues in the final 'stage' of the project.

Anyway, on with the pictures.

Worst case scenario is I dont like it and just spray the whole thing OD green again. It was ten bucks plus a dollar for the stickers, some cheap masking tape, and a little white spray paint I had around the house. While I hate some of the paint peeled up when taking the stickers off, and if I'd have been more tedious the stripes would have been more precise, but Im pleased right now and wanted to share.
