Signed up for Disney+ and discovered they are streaming all sorts of old stuff from my childhood.

Watched Davy Crockett (1955) last night, brought back a lot of memories!

Talk about bad weapon stuff though. Semi-auto flintlocks, dudes getting shot, taking 5 steps then launching from a trampoline. Bloodless knifing/tomahawk kills, etc.

The worst was Davy winning a shooting match by stacking 2 balls on top of each. Somehow when he dug the balls out of the target they were perfectly round and without any rifling engraved.

Just reminds me that Hollyweird has always been “off”.

Anyway, if your kids signed up for Disney, take a minute to scroll through, you might find something you like.

I remember those shows. Some of them were good and some were kind of corny. But those were the times.
Even recently I've seen a show where they were shooting a revolver and you can hear the shells hitting the ground.
I'd never chastise you for subscribing or going to Disney. It's a desire I'm having to resist. Is Disney missing my measly pittance of a subscription?
Ha! I'd never think that I'm having ANY impact on their business.

We must have been watching it at the same time..... I was super excited to watch it with the kid but didn't remember it being so cheesy. Lol
