we need a sub forum for the kommie (communist) rifles!!!!

I for one love the AK....but also love Mosin- Nagants!!!!! It just something about them.

Any one else love kommie rifles??

So would this be the place for Kalifornia modern communist spec bullet button rifles?
 
They is something to the commie pistol, rifle, or semi-full auto......pure nirvana. Is it because they are cheap(use to be), tough, reliable, or a no holds barred win at all cost bad a$$ weapon.....

Does it count that I want one (several) of them but never can manage to get a hold of one? If I have money I can't find one that suits my picky ass, when I find one that's suitable I don't have the money. If that counts I'm in.
 
After my experience with an AMD-65, I'm over AKs, but love my Chinese SKS. Fun gun & pretty accurate. Also shoots the nice PRVI 123gr jsp to the same POA/POI as the cheap Wolf 124gr hp.

Shot a friend's Mosin & liked it. Dunno as I want one, but it was pretty cool, IMO. Would benefit hugely from some real sights, as would any Commie gun.
 
The AMD's are the red headed step child of the AK world. Horrible stock, metal handguard that burns your hand, hard to use with 30 round mags, incredibly loud (but incredibly effective) brake, What specifically was the problem with yours?
 
The brake. Every shot was like a punch to the face. No fun to shoot at all.

Got the SKS to shoot all the ammo I'd stock-piled & it just suits me much better than the AK.

An AMD65 is something of an oddity, try a more conventional AK before you give up on the line.

We need to get together and you can shoot my girl. 74 style brake is a lot better than that gum-rattler on the AMD.

(HA! I have a spare AMD brake somewhere, I should bring it with me....)
