California ceased to be a part of my country years ago.

California has zero jurisdiction outside the state. Any watching of sales in neighboring states would need continuous cooperation from a federal agency. There are many roads and highways into California and they are not going to stop every car. How many cars got stopped when NC declared fireworks illegal.

I’m not going to live in the weirdest state in the country but if I did I would not hesitate to take ride or have someone bring me a couple thousand while visiting. Just like I would bring a case of smokes to someone from NC.
