Labor Day Dinner

Wifey just showed me a Harris teeter ad where they have Smithfield baby back ribs on sale right now for $1.97 a lb limit 2. Her mission tomorrow is to secure 2 packs of those ribs. They also have on sale is large shrimp for $7.99 a lb.. Sounds like a good combo to me for labor day..

Just put burgers on grill, potato curls are in air fryer. Brew is home made hard cider.

Shrimp on the Barbi... My wife scores the ribs on a semi regular basis, bakes them in the oven in beer for a couple hours, then grills them with bbq sauce and they fall off the bone, freaking awesome.

It's been awhile since I've had some good grilled shrimp, I may have to look into that one.

Drove up to Maiden with friends to pick up a 180 lb sow to be the guest of honor at tomorrow's pig pickin. she went on at 5pm and will be babied all night

Note!!! Wifey just came home 2 of these ribs from Harris Teeter.. They are NOT baby backs. I dont know what they are. Might be loin backs, but kinda skinny and long boned. Baby backs are usually thick and weigh 3.5 lbs. These weigh in at 2.5 lbs, like I said, kinda skinny and I'm not sure what cut they are. Not Smithfield brand either, I'm feeling slightly cheated right about now..
