Both my older one and my newer 'custom' have a fake reset about 1/2 way out and then actually reset about 3/4 of the way out (moving toward the front of the trigger guard).

It's a "getoffme" gun. Used in the close quarters scenario for which it was designed, you won't be shooting to reset. If that was the only complaint, I'd keep it. There aren't a whole lot of mainstream choices at that size and weight. They all have their own "personality issues".Fake reset? To bad they are not worth anything or I'd get rid of it.

I just added the wee Kahr CW 380 to the list for comparison, so you can compare it to the LCP. They are virtually the same size.
