Present:D down 165lbs, 14” gone from the waistline, feeling great!
This is freakin amazing! I'm impressed with the results but just as much impressed that you stuck with the program and it paid.
That was a huge commitment that most would have failed. Well done Sir.

(shame about the face though :p )

Lol you think that’s bad you should see how weird some of my tattoos look!:D:eek:

Good for you! I'm going the opposite way in this quarantine... Getting fatter by the day...
I can't socially distance myself from the refrigerator, and combined with the gym being closed I'm going to be HUGE when this is over.

Im staying steady as far as weight, but I am dropping fat, so I am ok with that.

Im trying to regain my momentum and drop another 30-40 lbs, but damn its hard in this time. Too damn easy to eat anything and everything.

Too easy and little else to do...

Awesome job @NoNameHaveI !

I went from a weekly average of 225 last year to 235 this year. I started lifting weights in January and noticed it creeping up. First two weeks of semi-quarantine I was eating like it didn’t matter. Lol. Wrong answer. Going to focus on getting back to the mid to low 220’s for now.

Im an "essential" employee, but the hours have been cut and at home not much going on. Trying to stay active in the mornings, and homework at night, but still too easy to eat everything.

Same here. I have one garage build going on, albeit slowly, and a couple of day trip jobs coming up. So, pretty slow. Spending a lot of time at home. We were supposed to leave for Ireland tomorrow for a couple of weeks and that's off. So kinda down and bored, which makes it worse...

I cant build a home gym as Im in a rental, and the only place is the patio, and thats not permitted.

I have found a pull up bar, and have many good roads to run on (except the doc said I have a sprained foot, and to lay off the running for a bit, great) so I can still do some things, and need to get the diet back in check. Which we all know is the hard part.

Still around 235, but things are going OK. I've been going to the gym every other day and seeing a lot of improvement in muscle growth and tone. I had to buy a new suit this week, since my 50's were too baggy to even tailor down to fit me. I got a 46 R. Also, my dad commented last weekend that it's the first time in a long time that he saw that my chest was bigger than my belly- so that's a good thing. My 15-year-old son has been going to the gym with me and I've enjoyed spending the time with him.

My wife has had a lot of digestive problems over the past year, but the upside of it is that she's lost about 50 lbs. So between the two of us, we've lost over 90 lbs. We're scheduled to take family portraits this July, and for the first time in a long time, I'm looking forward to it.
An update: the weight I lost a few years ago all came back, plus some. A few months into the pandemic, I ballooned up to 284. Then in July, I decided to get serious and try to get back to a healthy place. I am happy to say that I am now down to 218 (lost 66 lbs) and feel better than I have in a long time. I'd like to get under 200 this time and hopefully, I can keep it off this time. Wish me luck.

I've been hovering around 200 lbs. for years with high blood pressure. Had a nurse go wide-eyed a few weeks ago while checking my blood pressure and figured it was time to take it seriously. I've cut alcohol except for two beers a week, cut all soda, been riding 5 mile bike rides daily, reduced how much I eat and also gotten into healthier foods (avocado for breakfast, air-fried veggies for lunch, then smaller portions for dinner).

My scale claims I'm down to 188 lbs., so I'm well on my way to 170 lbs. 😁

Yeah, had the fear of God put in me in 2005 and been trying to eat healthier ever since. Lost 65 lbs total. Haven't had a soft drink in almost 10 years now, not a single one. (stopped soda before diet)

Good for you man. I gained about 10 or so back since Rona kicked off in March, been working from home since then. I started walking again yesterday at a park near by. 2 miles at a 14 min mile per. Legs are a little sore today. After Tomorrow, its time to get serious about loosing these 10 or so lbs.

I was doing good at the beginning of the year. Started 1 January at 215 and got down to 202. Covid came to town and all the home cooking I’m up to 220. Going to have to get my game together.

down to 206, so 77 lbs lost since July. Getting closer...

Still losing, but slower than before. I'm right at 201 (83 lbs lost) and have been hovering right around the 200 lb mark for a few weeks. I think that magic number will fall any day now. When I started this in the summer, I was wearing 44 pants and 3XL shirts. Now my 36 jeans and XL shirts are too baggy, so it is time to go down to a smaller size. I'm running out of holes in my Fatboy belt, so it might be time to place an order or get it cut down.

Great work! Steady is good. I’m in a roller coaster where I spend the first 3/4 of the year getting down and maintaining and then go on a bender starting at Thanksgiving. +/- 25 lbs swing is the norm. I need to stop the roller coaster!

I’m getting actual training at a gym three days a week these days. My scale numbers aren’t dropping very fast but I feel great and see some body changes already.

I always have to check the scale to see if I am Yoying up or down....

Well I hit 220 again yesterday, gotta get back to 200. Doesn’t seem like a lot, but it is slow going and getting slower. I think I’ll try to eat reasonably healthy but just one meal per day and see how that goes.

Bad back, so can’t do anything more strenuous than walking most of the time. Recumbent stationary bike is okay sometimes.

I stress eat, and 2020 a bad year. Was locked into a huge (as a percentage of total wealth) investment late last year and it crashed before I could get out. Working through the wreckage now and for the next few months which will make fitness hard.

I've been hovering around 175 lbs. for the last few weeks. Need to combat some of the snacking to get to the point where I'm happy. Had a physical earlier this week and doctor was pleasantly surprised at the new me. :)

196.8 lbs today, which is down 87.2 lbs. XXXL shirts > Large, 44 > 34 pants.

So, not trying to brag or anything, I honestly just want to put this out there:

Peloton offered me 2 Pletoton Tread+ machines for zero down, zero interest, free delivery and setup. $125 per month each. Plus the Peloton Membership which is $42 per month.
I already had the Peloton bike, and the membership works for both.

The Tread+ is amazing.
The treads are like window blinds, or tank tracks, and are metal, and form a solid running surface, then disintegrate as the go behind you. Basically this makes it feel like you are running on asphalt as opposed to bouncing on a treadmill.

There are maybe 30 different instructors. They are running/hiking/walking/sprinting with you the whole time.
Each instructor has their own unique style and cadence. One of the instructors is going to the Olympics for women's running.

Anyway, these things are game changers.
They offer bootcamp lessons as well where you lift, then sprint or whatever.

I just hope this helps someone.

Just an FYI but owners are urged to stop using the Tread+ due to “multiple dangerous incidents, even a death”

Based off of @Mike79 success with his first MASF Challenge and my inability to get motivated for my upcoming Spartan Sprint outside Austin TX on 16 May, I will be starting my own MASF challenge tomorrow.

I have the cardio and the strength for the race but, sadly, am carrying around about 20lbs too much (actually about 40 but that is a different topic). The timing should allow my body to recover from any issues from the 10 day fast before race day.

During this time, I will continue to lift 5 days a week, run 10 50 yd “dashes” 3 days a week and add in Couch-to-5k 3 days a week (starting with week 4). Dashes and C25k will be on alternating days. If I don’t post after Sunday, it’s been great knowing some/most of you ;)

I’m starting tomorrow. Will do my sad weigh in and post. Lol.

CHRIS

Just a word of warning. The Smashing Greens taste like I imagine mowing a 25 acre field with a push mower on a August afternoon and wringing your sweat-soaked and grass-covered pants out into a glass would. And that was with cold water 🤮

256 of fattness this morning. I was at like 215 last year at this time. So sad. o_O

The Smashing Greens do, in fact, smell and taste like some of the good alfalfa flakes that my wife feeds her horses some times. The other scoops of stuff mixed in kind helps it but not really. I'm drinking it without nose breathing to help get it down. lol. The citrus pre-workout has a very strong grapefruit flavor that is worse for me than the powdered grass. I'll get the protein powders for lunch.

Going to continue lifting with a trainer three days a week and going to pick up some weights and cardio at home on days off.

I'll update on the 5th!

CHRIS
