I need to organize my toolboxes. I have a large Husky one and a smaller Craftsman one. Let's help each other out and show your toolbox and what you came up with for organization. I was thinking of foam and cutting out the tool...but that's expensive and time consuming.....

I'll have to get a pic.
I used to have organized my wrenches on large springs. With the coils open , I'd use 2 and set the wrenches on edge in order.

Im using different things for sockets, I'll post later

It was more organized when I worked out of it daily.
Love these socket racks, some people break them, mine survived 7yrs in a high volume HE shop. The wrench racks are nice for the portability but limits get tested over 15/16 and even laid at an angle need a deep drawer for big stuff. the one with the midget wrenches is nice for the magnetic back, but makes them even taller. Pliers are always a struggle.
I've known A&Ps to do the foam thing, space consuming, although one had backed foam and multiple teir ls of tools in deeper drawers.

I'm a little OCD when I comes to my tools and keeping my stuff organized. All my sockets are on a magnetic plate. Everything else are in what they came with when I bought them.

You're going to have to buy me at least 3 drinks before you see my toolbox. And you better not be a butter face

This is my tool box. It's a mess. But somehow I always seem to find what I need. I too need to organize it. Just getting rid of the trash that has accumulated would be a good start.

Thanks, I need to have all sorts of stuff on the truck when working on garage doors and openers. Half the bins are filled with tools. The other half are for parts. You just can't ever tell what's going to pop up.
