Let's talk SuPeRcHaRgErS....

I like these cars and engine technology, but love the days when a few guys could get together and run a Supercharged Big Block Chevrolet on nitro....!!

if you want forces induction but don't care about V8 exhaust notes, there's always the eco beast 3.5. Some of those tuners are making close to 800hp on pump gas on basically stock engines

Some people who are evidently on ignore doubted this. The article from Livernois was from 3 years ago. Do the math on this truck (weight vs quarter mile times - the calculators are out there) then:

true. and what I would choose in a truck. Dads 2014 EB sure had that torque to tow with. Pretty sure it would tow anything my old 7.3 F250 would, easily

Does STS make a kit for that truck? That could be a nice option.

I had a custom intercooled Vortech V2-SQ setup on an '02 Ram with the old 5.9. First year of that body style, and the one year before they offered the Hemi. It dyno'd 208/290 with nothing but an exhaust swap. Dyno'd 413/486 when I was done. Only 8-9 lbs of boost.

I want to pro charge my 5.8. It's going to take me a year to get this thing done. Before I pro charge it I want to stroke it to 393 or 408.

This VMP is impressive! I've seen their videos killing a Genesis. This is one quick truck!

54-58 f100 I've got a F1 cab for a rat truck I'll get around to building.
Just messaged a guy today about trading my 65 Fastback for a 56 F100. If he agrees and the truck isn't too rusty, may have to get rid of the V to do a serious pro touring build!

Idk if i could let that pony go haha
It's a 6 cylinder car in great shape, but with Dynacorn making reproduction steel bodies with enforced unibody components I would be better off (and way cheaper) building one as a kit car.

Ok, maybe since its a 6. But the f100 would need to be perfect. That 65 would make an awesome k code swap or restomod

Yea but if the goal is restomod, I'd be better starting with the Dynacorn body. But then I'd have to take it to Detroit Speed and after that trip, an Aluminator, and all the interior and finish, it's a 6 figure build. I figure the F100 can can be an ongoing build without me wanting to go balls to the wall from day 1.

So, sold my one singular factory boosted vehicle tonight. Might need to look more seriously into a VMP for the F150 Coyote.

Congrats! There was a temi at the junk yard with rear end damage I seriously thought about buying to part out but keeping the motor and tranny.
