Liquor store robber triggered a gun battle. But mother and daughter working were ready,

Lots of wasted time to dispatch that fellow. Just shows how quick things can happen and being unprepared can have consequences. Things could have / should have been taken care of a lot sooner. He really should not have made it out with a band - aid.

Also shows not having arms on your side in such a vulnerable place is a bad idea. Also comes to mind of the folks who do carry in Glock in their holster without a chambered round is a bad idea. Carry on.

Did I see that right? The dumb ass came BACK into the store after she had already shot at him at least once?

My kind of womens!

Looks like he got shot three times from inside 7 feet. Must have been a small caliber. Don’t think with a 45acp he would have got up after the first shot to the mid section. Pretty stupid to come back in after being shot point blank range but only a moron robs a store anyway.

Damn, that's what I call a slow learner. He must have been on some kind of drugs to keep coming back for more after being shot by BOTH women!

Play stupid games....win stupid prizes...

Or keep getting shot by the women that already shot your dumb ass....

Stupid should hurt and in this case it looks like it did.

The way he closed the gap and took the gun away from the older woman is the reason I thought the woman in the kitchen who pulled a gun on the guy who punched the cook should have shot him. Never let someone close the gap on you. And it's the reason I wouldn't rely solely on a revolver. My 21+1 Tacops would have been far more effective.

Damn, that's what I call a slow learner. He must have been on some kind of drugs to keep coming back for more after being shot by BOTH women!

It looked like it was starting to take effect there near the end of the video.

Yes this was posted back in March, agree both should have had carried concealed, he should not have returned to the store, he got what he deserved.

Stuff like this is why I have a hard time carrying mouse guns as my main carry. I have been eyeballing a LCP for a while for those days where carrying a P07 is harder. But then I remember events like this where 7 shots from a .380 aren’t going to be enough. Hearing a click when I want to hear a bang just doesn’t suit me.

On top of that, as I remember someone here posting once, I plan on firing until my target changes shape and catches on fire. None of that pop here pop a while later stuff.

I think the same things. There are some sexy little .380's out there, like that beautiful little Sig. But, when a situation warrants drawing a gun, it's a fight for your life. You can bring your A game or your B game. Your best tools our your lesser, but more convenient tools. Sure, circumstances can dictate what you can carry. But, I want to have the best tools I can carry when the fighting starts.

Shoot as long as you have a target in your sights. Shoot until the target removes itself from your sights, either by exiting or falling to the ground.

He did have a lot of clothes on, that last round to his back during the struggle did the trick.

I saw several things that were wrong, why didn't the first lady with the J frame put 5 shots on the tip of his nose?? THAT would have ended all this before it got started. Neither woman made an attempt to de-ass the area, they just stood there waiting. And the skinny chick "handing out" the guns, well, I don't know about her......

Here's a thought for the software developers among us, create a program for businesses like this that control the cash register from a computer so there is an open program with a single icon that when you go to open the drawer you just click that icon and it auto calls 911 with a recorded message, THEN click the icon to open the drawer. Chances are the bad guy wouldn't know out how many clicks it takes to open the drawer and has no idea the call has been made.

Didn’t see a lot of muzzle flip, definetly a smaller caliber gun. That could have easily needed poorly for both girls due to lack of knock-down power of whatever rounds they were shooting. Agree with previous posts, keep shooting until the threat is no longer a threat. Hesitation and apprehension in such cases are sometime NOT repeatable mistakes. Glad both ladies are ok.

Its not caliber they were lacking, it was marksmanship and shot placement. One to the face and I bet he wouldn't come back for more.

Misleading headline... they were armed, but they were not ready.

and this right here could have got them killed. Dumbass wanted to leave but they locked him in:

But as the robber headed for the door, the women activated the store’s security system —
attempting to trap him between two sets of doors.
It didn’t work as planned, though: The inside door wouldn’t close quickly enough, but the outside door locked

All of that and he still drove himself to the hospital. Bigger bullets and more of them. The daughter is lucky mom had already sprayed hers, or she would have likely taken one to the face. She looked like she had a beretta tomcat or something similar, 22's, 25's do not stop many in their tracks. While I don't want to be shot with any of them, I want them to know they have been shot, regardless of adrenaline.

Interesting follow up to the robbery.
