I bought one of those 3# triggers that some vendor had on sale for $50 or so. It breaks right at 3# and very smooth but the problem is the hammer trigger spring is too weak to pop the primers. The unit is a one-piece drop in trigger.
Can you change the hammer spring on most one-piece units?

Here are pictures of the trigger. There is no name on it. Like I said it was CHEAP.

My reloads. They fire in every other 9mm that I have. Going back to the range on Sunday after I changed out the trigger.

I think we were all thinking you were using it in a 5.56 AR15.
So it's in a 9mm carbine?
Are you sure it's resetting?

If it does not reset, you will still see a small dimple on the primer.

Google AR15 function check for a quick test.

Yes it is a carbine 16"
Yes, it locks up if you do not release the trigger.
There were very light dimples on the primer. Put the same round in a 9mm 1911 and they all fired.

I am assuming that the hammer spring is too weak.

It sure sounds like the trigger is not resetting.
Is the bolt ramped?

Short firing pin or hammer spring likely then. I am sure the spring can be changed, but have no idea where to get spring or how to accomplish it.

I know some light AR triggers don't do well with hard primers, like tula or something.

I took the trigger unit to the shop to see about pressing the trigger spring pin out. Took a punch and it pushed right out without any pressure. Was going to replace it with a Wolf spring but since the trigger is in a self-contained unit. It takes a thinner spring. The spring part that rests against the trigger is bent one way. I installed it where the bend would be pushing against the hammer. I am thinking that might add some more resistance.
