Gang, I stopped at an estate sale in Lewisville this morning and they have an original 1920s Winchester 94 .30-30 there in pretty decent shape.

It's a saddle ring carbine.

I'm waiting on pics from them, but the bore was good. The barrel has nice blueing for its age. The receiver has some pitting and has been polished out, likely to remove rust. The gun was well cared for and shows signs of having been regularly cleaned.

They had 1700 on it, if I remember correctly.

I can send the sale address to anyone that's interested.

(Forgive me if this is in the wrong place. I wasn't sure where to post it.)

I was just corrected by the sale manager. 1750 is what they have on it and it is a 1925.

Most estate sales have a price drop at different points so they price accordingly usually the second day things are 1/2 price by Sunday things are 75% .
This guy may haul this gun around from sale to sale trying to score big.
