looking for an UZI

I'm shooting my Tavor and Galil ACE to show my support.

What are we supporting? US Laws limiting the free speech of Americans? WOOooo... waitasec..
If Omar said it it must be bad right... but is it?
If you read Fox, Omar proposed boycotting Israel.
If you read CNN Omar is a champion of free speech.
We're probably not getting the truth from either of them,

ETA: reading now 10 articles deep and nobody has anything credible to say about this.

ETA: here we go:
https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/house-resolution/496/text

Affirming that all Americans have the right to participate in boycotts in pursuit of civil and human rights at home and abroad, as protected by the First Amendment to the Constitution.

I do not like Omar and I'm aware of her biases, but this high-ground maneuver is a good play. And since it makes ZERO mention of Israel Fox sounds like fake news on this.

I ask, why is it needed?

Suppose you want to do 'X' and right now, if you do it, you would have public opinion (backlash) against you. You do, however, have a perfect way to make a law that says 'X' is protected free speech.

Now you can do 'X' had have a law to protect you against ALL retaliation.

Again I ask, why is it needed? We already have free speech and a law that says the GOVERNMENT can't stop it.

Disclaimer: X=X and Y!=X :D

Google tells me its because January 2019 congress passed a law making it illegal to boycott israeli companies. I havent verified, no time right now.

The squad led by Omar introduced a resolution that subtly supported BDS without specifically mentioning Israel.

BDS: The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement works to end international support for Israel's oppression of Palestinians and pressure Israel to comply with international law.

Islamists and progressives regularly use our freedom to ultimately limit our own freedom or that of others. One of their most devious and effective tools. And the reason “but freedom” isn’t the best reason to support or fight something anymore. It’s gotten more complicated than that.

I'm of the opinion that the US govt shouldn't be sending money, aid, or arms to any foreign nation, regardless of how chummy they claim to be.

If someone wants to support a foreign nation, they can cut a check, and send it in the mail.

If they don't want to support a foreign nation, that's their right.

I have a NIB Uzi pistol (SA) that I'd consider parting with....
Ha! You beat me to it. I was just going to post, I have a NIB Model B carbine that I'd consider parting with. Had a NIB pistol about 15 years back that I sold and honestly that's probably the only gun I've ever sold that I'd want back.

Love the Tavor, Galil and the open bolt f/a Uzi was the most fun gun I've ever fired. I liked it better than the HKMP5. Just my .02. Just a really fun sub gun.

Edit: I would use different springs for faster or slower cycling. It was a hoot.

Better than an MP5?.............. come on Bradman :)

Well the MP5 runs great, but by controlling the coils on the recoil spring the Uzi can fire as fast or as slow as you like. The MP5 is the cadillac for 9mm sub guns, but I enjoyed the Uzi as a fun gun.

What is the going rate for an auto Uzi these days?

11k up depending on if it is a RR or a bolt gun. MAC's are still a good buy I think but the prices are really starting to go up on them.

I may or may not have umm.. known someone that was once in possession of a short barreled, f/a, open bolt UZI. It was a very fun gun. I think it was the weight and the slower cyclic rate. With a short mag and collapsed stock, it would fit diagonally in a regular brief case. ;)
