Can anyone refer me to someone in the Charlotte area that can blind pin and weld a muzzle device on an ar15 barrel for me? I'd prefer to deal with someone local rather than having to ship it. Thanks in advance.

I had good luck drilling it myself on my drill press and taking it to a local auto repair shop in Huntersville who is also a Class 3 FFL. They gladly did the quick weld for me.

Otherwise, I had Eagle Guns so one years ago. I want to say it was like $40-50. OK but not a great price.

Question, more because I’m unsure more than anything but isn’t silver solder an an ATF acceptable alternative?

I’ve talked yesterday to Tommy at Catawba Valley Armory
    https://www.catawbavalleyarmory.com/

This will be my first job with Catawba Valley Armory to thread a barrel and install a muzzle brake.

Just an FYI, he told me he is out the rest of this week going to Fort Benning for his son’s AIT graduation.

I know it's not what you are looking for, but as a point of reference...

I had ADCO do a barrel for me and the charge was $30 + return shipping which came to $47 total (I looked up the receipt). Add in whatever it cost me to ship to them.

The work looked good. I've used them a few times and have always been whelmed.
