Looking for the smallest case for a 27" long bulky rifle

Obviously you can use a large case for a small rifle, but I'm trying to find the smallest soft case that will fit a bulky 27" long rifle. Thing one of those evil rifles with grips that go down and optics that go up.

What are you guys using for short rifles?
 
I assume an AR that short is a pistol. A tennis racquet bag is about 30” long, fits an AR pistol fine (30rd mag and Aimpoint PRO) and covert enough to leave unattended in the front passenger seat of the car.
 
I just bought a Rukx gear bag. 10.5" fits but its tight. I really like the bag though.

I get these from work. A little over 27 1/2" wide inside, and 10 1/4" front to back. And discreet.

Actually no, but close. That's the idea though.

Not looking for some ninja gear, not carrying it around to deploy in a hurry, just want a nice range bag that doesn't cost more than it should.
 
The Midway USA range bags are surprisingly nice.

They are actually extractable banner stand cases. I'll get you one from work. Might be a week or two before we have a broken one where they throw away the case. If you can wait.
