Loose brick repair

Got a brick on my steps that's been loose for years. I guess I need to do something about it. I know nothing about masonry but I'm sure there's a better way than just squirting some construction adhesive on it.

The brick next to the loose one is still tight, for now, but I could see it peeling off soon.

What ideas have you got for me?

Take the two off beside it and go buy a pre made brick corner and it’ll be stronger and last longer

Use motar for brickwork and not concrete.

Id use type n on brickwork
