A few months ago. I applied and was approved of pistol permits.

Went to the sheriff office and got the physical copy. Got home and left it on the bookshelf

After forward today. While on break. I saw a deal on Armslist. Contact and set up a meeting tomorrow to pick it up

Comes home and looked for my permits on the shelf. Where I left it

To find out. Wife today decided to clean the clutter(it was just a bunch of things) and threw out my permits because it looked like junk mail....

I went looking through the trash and found nothing

Is there anything I could do? Do I just call the sheriff Offce and pick up a replacement permit?

I messaged the guy and he hasn't replied :(

Feels bad man :/

Most likely have to reapply for your permits. Sherrif wont have a record of whether you used it or not and its almost guaranteed they wont reissue with same permit number
Agreed. Given the entire system is for the power and money. Good luck

After this, if you can get your carry permit you are good for 5 years.

I stopped a gun shop one day. They had a Charter Arms .32 in the case for $100. I pulled three cards from my wallet. VISA, DL, and CHP.

If I see something I never think about purchase permits

This ^.

And even if you are buying a long gun and not handgun the carry permit bypasses the need to stand around waiting on NICS. Pull out three documents. Fill out and sign the infringement form. Be on your merry way.

Yeah there is no replacement process. When you get the next one you can usually ask for 5 or 6 (they’ll be $5 each).

Tommy, I totally smell what you're steppin'in!
When my wife does her white tornado routine, misc stuff I want to keep needs to be put away.
Let her know she needs to pay for this action, like penance, a favorite meal, a 'favor', etc :p
