So I was out shooting one of my Swiss K-11 and I did not score very well. 100 yards. 10 rounds off hand and 10 rounds bench. I only shot a 50 out of a possible 200 points. It was all me. The rifle is very good. I normally can pull an 80 or better from the bench and a 50 or better off hand.

The target was a 100 yard high power rifle Slow fire (simulates a 600 yard slow fire)

I need to practice. Just need to find a place to get ammo. Starting to run low.

I'll chime in and say that the NRA MR31 (600 reduced to 100) target is tough enough to shoot prone, let alone offhand. I wouldn't be too hard on yourself

GP-11 seems to be readily available again:

It is just a shame the brass is Berdan and not easily reloadable.
It is amusing that Europe uses an American design (Berdan) while the US uses an European design (Boxer). Wish everyone would settle into one type and be done...

Incidentally, if you are willing to settle down to aftermarket (boxer), http://palmettostatearmory.com/7-5-x-55-swiss-174gr-fmj-bt-20rds.html

I don't know anything about rifle ammo but it seems to be in stock right here in NC at Outdoor Limited.

I love my K31 and it is a very accurate rifle. But the truth is that I am so focused now on shooting the Garand, most everything else has kinda fallen off the radar. At one point I thought about reloading for the K31, but never followed through on it before getting sidetracked.
