It is pretty straight forward but how do you do your Low-Country Boil?

From time you start boiling your water, adding seasoning and when and how long do you cook everything.

Old family secret, I'd have to kill you after telling.

Actually, the ex put it all together per Old Bay directions, everyone liked it.

Water boils, drop spice packet, back to boil, drop potatoes, boil until almost tender, drop corn cobs, back to boil, drop sausage, back to boil, drop shrimp and when it boils it's done. DO NOT serve on newspaper, either use paper grocery bags or butchers non waxed paper...

BB pretty much nailed it. We have been making it a bunch in the past year due to getting a place down at Oak Island and it just being easy to feed a crowd. I use Hillshire Farms polska kiabasa and brown it before I toss it in, it just adds a little flavor and makes it easy to bite through the the skin. We pull a bucket of it off just before adding the shrimp do to some not eating seafood. Some folks say dump a bag of ice in or use a pot chiller as soon as shrimp boils to make the food "firmer" I have never tried either. Man I want some now!!
