I need low(er) recoil published data for 12 gauge using Unique powder only. I have a ton of the stuff and I don't want to have to stock another type to get this done. If it's just not feasible then so be it, I'll do something else.

Alliant does not list 7/8 or 1 oz loads for Unique any longer but the interwebs tells me they *used* to publish these loads. I'm looking for an actual copy or photo of a loading manual from someone's bookshelf for:

12 gauge
7/8 or 1 oz shot
AA or STS hull
any wad
any primer
Unique powder

Anyone help is much appreciated

I don't think you're going to find any "low recoil" loads using Unique. It runs pretty good pressures and usually starts around 1200 fps with 7/8 or 1 oz loading's. I think you're going to have to go to one of the "Dot" powders (Red, green or blue Dot) to get the pressures and therefor the velocity down below 1200. WSL is also a low velocity/pressure powder but I don't have a clue where to find any. There are a few loading's with Bullseye that are in the mid to upper 1100 fps range.
If I can help any further holler....

I'd be happy with just a lighter payload if you have something credible I can reference for 7/8 or 1 oz loads. Everything in my Lyman handbook and on Alliant website is for 1-1/8oz+
