Lowe's Foods: Pork Shoulder: .99 cents/ lb: This Weekend...

If you ask the meat guy real nice, they will re cut that chunk into pork steaks ( better then pork chops) and reseal then charge you the same amount. Or if you have the capability, you can make that into sausage, 99cts per lb as compared to $5.99 a lb.

HT has it for $0.97/lb this weekend too. They run that sale about once a quarter. I don't have much freezer room for slabs o' meat but it sure is nice to put up a few pounds of pulled pork BBQ for some quick and easy dinners.

This is one of those times it sucks to live in a small town.

It's one hour, one way, to a Lowes or a HT, probably further to a Lowes.

blasphemer!!!! pork shoulder should only be smoked til 200 degrees then pulled or made into sausage! "Pork steak" has to be something straight out of the north east! :p

.97/lb at Harris Teeter at the moment also. Wife just brought one home for the smoker.

Didn’t realize it’s already been posted but at least we have confirmation 🤣
