I am in need of a mount for a steiner 1-4 lpvo. I need something I can remove and install somewhat quickly and It needs to return to zero everytime. I plan to switch between a thermal optic and this when hog hunting. Thoughts? I am looking hard at the ADM line.

ADM Recon is solid (I have the extended Recon-X version)

Larue SPR/M4 LT104 (I use an SPR-E)

Bobro is rock solid

My buddy got this Steiner and the MI mount as a package deal but I don’t like the latches over the ejection port:

did someone say American Defense yet? :D

FWIW I have several others, some high end some low. The Monstrum Tactical line on Amazon is pretty darn well built for a low price if you didn't need QD. They make a QD version but I only trust ADM QD.

I have 4 ADM mounts, their solid.

Here’s 3 of them, I have another recon mount I added recently.

Ever since knocking a lever open while climbing my stand, I only use non-QD mounts on hunting guns.

it’s super easy to put a Fixit Stick Torque limiter in your pack to ensure RTZ.

I had an ADM mount with a Steiner LVPO on a rifle a few years back. Solid choice. Get the throw lever for the Steiner!

what kind of QD mount was it? I don’t think you would be able to knock an ADM lever loose, since they have a tab that you need to press in before pulling the lever

I got a Burris PEPR QD mount to put on my AR10 here recently. I'll be going to shoot it tomorrow to sight the rifle in. I'll see how well it gets and holds zero and report back. It probably isn't as nice as the ADM, but it might be good. I know the non-QD PEPR mounts do well for me.
