Well, I finally got her out to the LEO range with @august1410 , only 25 or sounds at about 12 yards, but she functions as advertised and more accurate than I expected.
I mixed two found-on-the-ground 36 grain Remington hollow points into the second magazine, and other than one being a VERY slow to fire round, they all stayed pretty much where they were aimed.

The slow to fire hollow point is circled at 6 o'clock.

All other ammo was Norma Tac-22

How do you like the gun overall? Was looking at one as well for my son and like that you can swap parts, but reliability is king. Thx

It's been great so far, with the limited trigger time I've gotten.
But even so, I highly recommend the thing.

I got one during Sandy Hook, didn't want to spend more for the 5.56 in case I didn't like the AR platform.
It shoots real good outta the box, I got my M&P 15X two days later.šŸ˜€

I think they are fantastic firearms. Iā€™ve got a couple. And at least one goes with me every range trip. Iā€™ve upgraded triggers and safeties on all of them.

You wonā€™t be disappointed. Iā€™ve got a few of them. Iā€™ve not had any reliability out of them out of the box. I got one that Iā€™ve tinkered with to make a competition rifle and itā€™s a little finicky with ammo, but it wasnā€™t until I changed the barrel to a carbon wrapped aftermarket barrel.

We have half a dozen (literally: (1) pistol, (2) fde, a muddy girl pink, Robin egg blue and Kryptek Highlander camo ) and the frustrating thing for me is finding a reliable drop-in (aka - ā€œcassetteā€) 2.5-3lb trigger that also resets decisively and quickly ā€¦

I went out on a limb and procured iirc 4 CMC 2.5lb cassettes and the granddaughterā€™s (Robin egg blue cano) started acting up this past summer, failing to reset and then last week the trigger in the wifeā€™s muddy girl pink started the same silliness :-(

I have four LaRue MBT-2S flat bow that should be here tomorrow and, while they are not cassette drop-ins the MBTā€™s just plain work ā€¦

Hmm, I just yesterday ordered one of these for my Tippmann M4-22.
Single-stage, flat face.

What do you think went awry? Does CMC not have a warranty on them?

I have a CMC in mine and it's never given me a single problem. But I clean it out after shooting.

I've given thought to an MBT, or a BCM trigger, but I need more trigger time before I decide.

Iā€™ve ran Elf, Geiselle, Gold, and tried to get a Franklin to run (but it would run on binary). Running MBTs now.

What's the deal with the trigger on these?
I have one my 12 yr old grandson beats the brakes off of when he comes to visit...he will go through a 300 round box over the weekend.
Of course I clean it after each time.
I run it every now and again as it is a fun plinker!

Have easy 1k rounds thru it since buying new 6 years ago and not seeing any trigger issues?

Pic also shows the GSG 1911/22 šŸ˜

They're aftermarket trigger issues

And I need another front sight, the M&P donated its to the new Springfield Saint 9mm.....

Iā€™ve got a Jard AR Rimfire trigger in one. Itā€™s a little tricky to get set properly but itā€™s fully adjustable. Iā€™ve never had a misfire due to the trigger.

Edited to add:
With drop in triggers in AR .22s have difficultly sometimes firing the primers due to lighter hammer springs. This trigger is especially designed and made for rimfire and solves that issue. While it has went bang every time to hammer fell, while trying to adjust it. Iā€™ve gotten it a too light a few times and had some extra rounds fire. So I guess someone may consider that a misfire, but I do not.

Thats weird. I've always went with the 3.5 flat CMC and never had any troubles. I want to say I've seen at least 8 different people run those triggers in our rimfire matches and haven't heard of a single issue.

If I recall correctly the darn things STILL hold the double tap and drag race records at DPRC. You'd think the Kidd triggers in the 10/22s would be quicker but I'm here to tell you that is not the case. I've yet to equal my 15-22 with the CMC 3.5 flat with any of my 10/22 based rifles (as far as those stages are concerned).

And I have no earthly clue why that is but...it is.

I never had trouble with the CMCs in mine either. Iā€™ve only heard other people talking about having issues with them 15-22s.

You guys ever have any trouble with bullets not stabilizing and key holing with these rifles?

I have one that cycles with the federal 325 rounds bulk packs from Walmart but keyholes every round.

Rifle functions properly with cci ammo.

I started using Remington but ran into feed issues ..
Was recommended to try Federal Auto Match...runs like butt - ah šŸ‘
Have heard not all 22lr work in semi autos...
Pert mush like other caliber semi autosšŸ¤”

I have not had any issues with bullets failing to stabilize. And Iā€™ve ran a wide range of stuff through them.

I've put nothing but Aguila Super Extra through mine because I have a large cache of it. Decent accuracy, no malfunctions.

Took the Tippmann M4-22 (now equipped with the CMC 2.5 lb. single stage flat trigger) to DPRC this afternoon.

My goal was to 'convert' this rifle to be competitive for RFRI Steel Challenge / 2-Gun Rimfire-Irons and I am happy to report: mission accomplished.

It has this on the front:
