Is there anything special to take into account when loading M2 AP in 308 fir a bolt gun?
Use FMJ load data?
That's some solid advice there. Keep in mind longer bullets generally like to be spun faster too.I got a whole bunch of 30 caliber tracer bullets years ago and wondered about the proper load data since they seem to be long for their weight. I looked at a variety of data sets and decided that I would concentrate on the data for Barnes and Nosler Partitions since they are both a little longer than regular cup and core bullets. I worked up to about 2,600 f/s and had no problems other than setting the woods on fire with one round.
