Made meat this morning

Nice doe. 7 AM, 15 yards. .440 patched round ball and 60g Hodgdon Triple 7. Quartering away, through and through penetration. For once i missed both shoulders and got a pair of nice roasts of the front end. She went about 10 yards and piled up on the trail to the truck. Love it when you don't have to drag em far!

Yes, that's it! What was the chambering? I like the carbines too but I love that merkel.
