Damn, is there anything that can't cause climate change?
Interesting read!

The take away for me is that this study is evidence against the Greenian Theory of Mannish Evil; it describes how cosmic events caused catastrophic changes to the environment, and that humans adapted thereto.

I suspect few people actually deny "climate change." If it weren't for climate change, we'd all be breathing methane while running from velociraptors. Those labeled "science deniers" by the taxes-vegan diet-centrally-planned-economy-will-save-us-from-death crowd mostly just deny that, although human activity can harm local environments, it isn't significantly harmful on a planet shaped by tectonic activity & spaaace raaays! [insert theramin music soundtrack here]

I had fun a few times in grad school pointing out to other scientists that by all the best scientists' predictions, and as published by a former vice president who lead the world in climate theory, we all should have been dead already. And then I invited people a little younger than me to look up all the articles on how global cooling was supposed to have brought on a new ice age.
The real inconvenient truth we need to worry about is that younger people vote but aren't able to remember what happened before their time.

And yeah, the magnetic fields are known to wander and flip. that could cause some problems with stuff.

Climate change is real. The data supports it. Along with this (magnetic poles) are changes to ocean currents, which are both contributors to and victims of climate change.

The idea that man in the last couple hundred years is the cause of climate change is utterly redonkulous.

Yes....humans, because I donā€™t think we are significant enough to affect the weather on a global scale.

I have to laugh when humans think they have the power to have any appreciable effect on nature, much less, power ā€œoverā€ it.
